I pay >$300 per year for a propane service agreement at my cottage. A friend was staying there while the snows service van came by and stopped for about 10 seconds then left. My friend called me to let me know. I came up to the cape this past weekend and I checked the furnace and found that it had not been cleaned & the filter was undersized and dirty; I checked the service slips and I believe that even though it was to be serviced last year it most likely was not . The last service tag is from 2/21. I am not pleased with discovering this . I will ask snows service dept for a refund of the service agreement and I will move my business elsewhere over this . Shame on Snows for this deceptive service .
Snows is THE most amazing home supply/ hardware/ everything store on the Cape! In the summer, they have all the outdoor furniture and gardening supplies that one could possibly need. They also carry many different grills and grilling supplies. If you are looking for that hard to find gadget for the kitchen, search no more! They also have a great selection of cast iron pans. Paint, beautiful brass door knockers, batteries, whatever you need for your home, they have! But if you want a truly special treat for the little ones at Christmas, come to Snows! The train setup is awe inspiring and a delight for young and old alike. Plus, their selection of ornaments is out of this world. I get all of my holiday supplies here and before Christmas all is usually at 50% off! So, summer or winter, Snows always has something of value for my home.

Snow's used to be the go-to place in Orleans, no matter what you needed. It was an institution, and an integral part of the community.
No longer. It seems that now, no matter what you want, you won't find it at Snow's.
Where one trip to Snow's would serve, I now go to Baskin s Hardware, Agway, and Friend's, and further afield to Brewster and Harwich.
It's actually quite sad.
I miss the larger toy section but still a great place to find unique pieces for home
This place is huge, has a little bit of everything. Kids loved the train set displays set up inside. So much to see.
We visit this store every time we come to the Cape and I always found things to buy - pillows, kitchen ware, bathroom stuff, even small furniture. Things were pricy, but always very good quality. We stop in 4 to 5 times per year and spent a minimum of $300. You get what you pay for. Since late 2019 the store has gone dramatically down hill. For lack of a better description, it's a mess. I don't know who is responsible or what is going on. Even the employees are not as friendly or helpful as they used to be. Are they going out of business? If they are, it would be very sad. If they are not, the person making
these changes should rethink what they are doing.
